Swap Screens for Treetops: Aventura Parks Reopens for Family Adventures in Dubai

If you’ve been looking for a way to get the kids outdoors now the weather has finally turned, Dubai’s Green Heart has the answer. Aventura Parks, the UAE’s largest zipline and rope adventure park, has reopened for the 2026–2027 season in Mushrif National Park.

The park sits inside a 35,000-square-metre Ghaf tree forest, the kind of place where children burn off energy and parents finally get to breathe. Five circuits offer more than 80 obstacles and 24 ziplines, with challenges set by height rather than age. Older siblings can take on the web nets, step bridges and the famous Tarzan Jump. The park is also a welcome reminder that some of the best family days in Dubai happen outside the mall.

Little ones who are too small for a harness aren’t left out. The Discovery Playground is a natural, engaging play area designed just for them, so the whole family can enjoy the day together.

When it’s time to refuel, The Ghafé serves freshly brewed coffee with traditional Emirati luqaimat. Its breakfasts, pizzas, pasta and smoothies should please even fussier eaters. There’s a Chill Zone for a breather between adventures, and from December, live music on Saturdays.

Planning ahead? Aventura birthday parties are a refreshing alternative to soft play. Aventura Camps run during school holidays for children aged 5–12, with hands-on adventures in the forest.

“We’ve created meaningful and fun experiences rooted in adventure, nature and play,” says Lina Malas, founder and managing director of Aventura Parks.
