Children's Birthday Parties in Dubai and Abu Dhabi: Inside a Lemonade Play Party

Ask any child what makes a good birthday and you'll hear the same things: friends, games, cake and room to run. Lemonade Play has built its parties around exactly that.

The discovery centre welcomes children from six months to 10 years, and every party runs for two hours. The first hour is free play, with six zones to explore, including the water fountain areas. Then the hosts step in with organised party games, before everyone heads to a private party room for food, cake and the birthday song.

Each party has at least two dedicated hosts, so the grown-ups can relax and enjoy it. The team also helps gather up balloons, favours and gifts at the end.

Meals include nuggets, pizza, sliders and fries, and dietary needs can be discussed beforehand.

There are three packages at the Dubai branches:

• Standard: simple décor, private room and kids' meals, from AED 145 per child on weekdays and AED 175 on weekends

• Premium: adds themed décor, e-invites, a balloon for each guest and a confetti blast, from AED 175 and AED 195

• Super Premium: adds a themed piñata, popcorn stand and face painting, from AED 195 and AED 250
