Editor's Note: A New Chapter for raemini Magazine

Hi all,

I’m Sarah – a mum of two – and I’ve been living in Dubai for the past 10 years.

My children are three and five, and it’s only now that I’m slowly starting to feel like me again.

I haven’t “bounced back.”I haven’t figured out how to get rid of mum guilt or overwhelm. And as an expat mum, I still haven’t found the perfect balance between missing family and fully embracing our life here in Dubai. Yes – even after 10 years, I still get homesick.

So what I want you to know in this – my very first Editor’s Letter for Raemini – is that we are a platform here to support, not judge.

We’ll bring you expert tips and trusted advice, but we’ll also share honest stories from real mums who are winging it, just like you.

This January, I want to ask mums one simple question:

What worries you the most right now?

Maybe it’s concerns about our children’s wellbeing and future. The rising mental load. Financial pressure. Screen time. Or that constant feeling of trying to get everything right – while rarely feeling like we are.

I’m writing a piece shaped by your voices, so I’d love to hear from you. Please drop me a line and share what’s on your mind.

This month, we’re also delving into styling for mums, breastfeeding at work, pelvic floor health, and much more.

Don’t forget to join us over on Instagram @raeminimagazine.

Editor-in-Chief, Raemini
